We are a community that loves to make, learn and have fun.
Become a member, to explore your creative side and to learn new skills.
We are located in Newton Gully, spread over two floors. Housing a range of equipment, from sewing to metal working.
Using the Space
For a small weekly fee. Members can have 24 hour access
to all the specialised equipment and machinery that
Hackland has to offer.
As a community we encourage members to be creative,
share their ideas with others and expand their knowledge base.

Friends of Hackland
Shared in the Hackland space are the Tool Library and the Repair Cafe communities.​ The Tool Library allows you to take tools home. Functioning like a regular library. Whereas at Hackland, you do the job on-site.
A Hackland membership allows access to the Hackland creative work spaces 24/7. Including all Hackland tools and machinery.
At the Tool Library. You reserve a tool through the library membership,
before picking it up and taking it home to use. You can become a member of both communities, depending on your personal project needs.
There is a crossover between the community members of Hackland and the
Tool Library; but memberships are not automatically linked. You will still need to apply for a membership to both communities, separately, to access the services and benefits that they each provide.
