"Polaris" Bass Guitar Design Project :

Favorites - 9 of 10.jpeg

Materials : Swamp kauri, maple, ebony, ash, CNC router and specific guitar bits and pieces.

"This bass, is the third instrument I’ve built. It was designed and created for my brother. He plays a whole range of things; but plays hard. A lot of the design considerations, were to make it as comfortable and versatile as possible.

The Hackland CNC machine was vital for getting the custom routing templates made. While the planer thicknesser, helped me to laminate the maple and kauri in the bass neck." - Guinevere.
